The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Finals represented the peak of the season in Planica and across Slovenia as well. Besides the flying hill of Gorišek brothers tens of thousands of loud fans gathered and cheered for the athletes. And in return, they made themselves up for the support by delivering the incredible flying performances.
In four days, it was possible to see a varied competition and accompanying programme starting on Thursday with the so called Children’s day, since thousands of young sports fans from all over Slovenia visited Planica. After that, the fight for podium followed with the first individual competition, on Saturday it was possible to see a team event and on Sunday the person victoriously lifted the large crystal globe, and was announced a winner.
