At the Planica Nordic Centre, we always try to appeal to our customers. You get to hear everything about Planica on our guided tours. In the building of the Planica Nordic Centre it is possible to see both of the wind tunnels and make sure that the cross-country course is ready even in the middle of the summer.
Guided tours are available also for larger organized groups (e.g. schools, companies, …). Guided tours are also available in other foreign languages (English, German, Italian, Croatian and Spanish).
From the viewing point it is possible to see the cross-country course or the football stadium, and have a good view over all the ski jumping hills, which are – apart from the giant hill – open all year round. The great courage of ski jumpers can be observed if we ascend 202 metres high by a chairlift, to the top of the flying hill.
To see everything, we also offer you a guided tour and a visit to the museum. The history of ski jumping dates back to year 1934, when the first world record was set.
Information about the world and other records, as well as about how a human being first flew over 100 metres and later 200 metres and about rich history of Planica and the development of ski jumping, is available at the museum which, besides the rich archive, offers a simulator of ski jumps and interactive content.
